Laura Ramey
is a self-employed consultant specializing in recruitment solutions for
companies on a national basis. As
an independent consultant, she focuses on the unique needs of a wide range
of companies and provides creative and novel approaches to recruiting
solutions customized for each particular organization.
She has 15 years of recruiting experience in corporate and agency
environments. Her
international recruiting experience with a California-based E&P
company was in Russia when the Iron Curtain fell in 1993.
Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Laura was a top
producer with a Silicon Valley based search firm.
Laura’s experience includes placing and advising professionals in
companies ranging from emerging start-ups to publicly-traded companies and
international privately-held organizations.
Laura is
actively involved in a variety of professional and non-profit
organizations including the Greater Houston Recruiters Network
(President), National Association of Personnel Consultants (National
Director), Texas Association of Personnel Consultants, Houston Area
Association of Personnel Consultants, Techxans (Co-Founder), Houston
Livestock Show and Rodeo International Committee (Lifetime Member), Texas
Longhorn Breeders Association, American Quarter Horse Association, Former
Texas Rangers Association (Lifetime Member), AIRs (volunteer), Cocker
Spaniel Rescue of East Texas (volunteer) and Houstonian.
Laura earned
a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a dual major in
Management and Marketing at Ohio Northern University.
Laura also is a Certified Personnel Consultant through the National
Association of Personnel Consultants.
Laura
is currently working for Burger King.
